(Derby, UK) Beautiful pedigree Oriental Shorthair boy seeking a very special forever home.
Samui is affectionate, intelligent and playful, he is such a wonderful cat who will cuddle for hours and entertain you with lots of playtime. We've had Samui for four years, since he was a tiny kitten and love him so much, but unfortunately we need to find him a better suited home because he is too stressed with our other cats, despite being neutered and us following specialist advice.
He MUST be the only pet in the household because he becomes stressed with other animals, leading to spraying and territorial behaviour. In his own room and a single-cat home, he's the perfect cat with no issues spraying or other anxious behaviours.
What we're looking for:
No other pets whatsoever
Adults/older children who understand cats
Experience with cats (behavioural understanding preferred)
Patient owner who can provide calm, stable environment
Someone who appreciates Oriental cats and will keep him indoors
About Samui:
Vaccinated & health checked
Previously on medication for anxiety (now weaned off)
Extremely affectionate with humans
Loves routine and quiet environments
Through no fault of his own, Samui can't cope in our multi-cat household despite professional support and significant accomodations, he is fine in his own room, but it isn't fair to keep him confined. He deserves to be someone's special only cat.
We live in Derby. Rehoming fee applies. Home visit may be requested. All medical records, favourite items, and ongoing support included.
