Description
This is Kallie. She was one of our litter of 7 puppies in November 2022.
She originally went to a family who loved her to bits. They had a baby, found looking after Kallie and a new baby in a small flat wasn’t working for them. After making the heartbreaking decision to try and rehome her, they contacted us.
We have fostered her for nearly 3 months.
We still have her mum and recently lost our second Frenchie through old age. We said we wouldn’t replace him as we want to spend more time in our home in Spain. Then along comes Kallie!
We have tried to make it work. Unfortunately, mother and daughter tend to clash occasionally. Daughter wants to be pack alpha. Mum is not herself sometimes! Spain is not happening and we feel Kallie needs a new family before she becomes too settled.
She is a gorgeous dog. Extremely affectionate and intelligent. She has lots of energy. We don’t think she had a lot of lovely walks due to living in a high rise in a large town. She loves walks. She needs to learn not to go at 100mph. Since we have had her, she has definitely improved.
She is totally housetrained. Having never had a garden, she loves being outside and will amuse herself chasing leaves. She is obsessed with toys and will bring them back to you constantly! We remove them when quiet time is required.
She has just finished being in season. We have her booked in at our vet to be spayed at the beginning of March.
We think a family or individual without a dog would be ideal. However, you know your dogs and would know whether they would welcome bossy boots into their home. Possibly a family with dog knowledge would be helpful. Frenchies are gorgeous, but experience is very useful. They are stubborn and need a firm owner!
She has been fine in contact with children including our grandchildren who haven’t got dogs. She lived with a 2yr old. I can’t vouch for cats as she has never had any contact with them.
Health wise, she came to us advertising mild skin allergies. Her family believed she was allergic to chicken. We haven’t given her chicken yet to disprove this. As far as the skin allergy goes, it is very mild. We took her immediately off of steroids and gave her a Cytopoint injection. She has been scratch free for 3 months and it is ongoing. No skin irritation at all. She has a beautiful glossy coat and a lovely smile!
We want to find her the best home second time around. She is young and intelligent and eager to learn. She responds well to a firmer hand, ie my partner!
I had to put a figure for cost in the box. This can be discussed when we meet. However we want to cover the cost of her spaying and vet visit. We won’t part with her unless we are 100% happy where she is going. A loving family is top priority. We would ideally like a family who live not too far from us so we can remain in touch.
We will be able to introduce you to her mum. I also have photos of her handsome dad. She is Kennel Club registered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. We also have her full health records from her previous vet.
We really hope that there is someone out there looking for a gorgeous Frenchie, wants lots of Frenchie love and cuddles. Not everyone wants to go through puppy training and Kallie is completely housetrained and is definitely not destructive!
