Description
I am selling my breeding pair of Hermann Tortoises and ones of their male babies
The breeding pair consist of a 25yr old female and a 23yr old male. They have lived together all their life and get on very well. The female lays yearly, sometimes more than one clutch of eggs, and has created many babies who are still going strong. Both adults live outdoors all year round and hibernate perfectly between late October/early November through until usually mid to late February. They are both eating perfectly and have no issues. As they are a breeding pair, who have lived together, I want them to go together. They love to roam the garden and also in the house if you’re not watching them! Sometimes on warmer days, the male can pester the female and he does need to be taken away from her for a bit to avoid stressing her out. They both come with their certificates. Due to their size and also what they’re used to, they should be housed in a large outdoors area, with heat provided for when the weather is cold.
I am also selling one of my younger tortoises, who is one of the babies from the breeding pair. He is a 2yr old male, who is fairly big for his age, and his sex is incredibly noticeable even at this age. He is also eating perfectly and currently lives outdoors with his parents. He has been raised indoors/a heated environment and as he is slightly smaller than his parents, he can be housed in a reasonably sized tortoises table. He also enjoys being outdoors in the warmth and loves exploring. This tortoise can be sold separately and would make a great pet for anyone. He does not come with any certificates, however these are not needed for this species. If you would like all three, they currently live together and get on fine and
I would be happy to sell them as a trio. The same goes for the young male however, as he also likes to stress the female out when warm!
£350 - Breeding pair
£125 - 2yr old male
£400 - all three
