having to rehome my boy teddy as i am currently halfway through a high risk pregnancy so am rarely able to be home which is unfair for him as he can be quite nervous. he’s a really great friendly dog who loves attention however he does get anxious and bark or hide from any banging or shouting due to a previous abusive relationship i was in but is never aggressive, he can also be timid around strangers and new places however he has been looked after by family friends he’s not met before and was more than happy to greet them and cuddle up to them once he was used to them, he loves cuddles and to play with small plush toys and is extremely excited to go for walks. he did live with another dog however this was my senior dog who only really slept and was very slow and they would cuddle everytime they slept hence how i believe a calm one dog home would be better for him as he can be quite timid around boisterous dogs that don’t give him space. he has also been around cats andre ds to just ignore them, he will also walk around and lay with my families dogs when we visit them he just doesn’t like to play with them, he is obsessed with curling up on laps and getting his belly rubbed and he loves a treat. he’s such a sweet loving boy and i’m so sad to have to do this but i have to prioritise my health whilst also doing what is best for my boy and i know he will thrive in the environment he deserves. we initially tried to apply for a spot in a foster home however as all rescues are full they where only taking in emergencies. he will have his harness and lead plus his slow feeder bowl to go with him as well as his bed and a few of his toys.
