Description

This is an absolute heartbreaking decision. Eli is the most lovely friendly boy ever. He's crate trained and good off lead. He's house trained too while out the crate in the day. My other collie is constantly snapping at him leading to fights and he has took an obsessive behaviour to going for my horses. Now I've tried every thing to stop this inc an e collar around the horses as we have our own land. He has so much excercise and lots of mental stimulation but he is going to end up killed around my horses if he's kicked and we spend 80% of our time there due to being our own and having sheep and chickens too. It's all becoming a nightmare at home when my other one attacks him if my 6 year old is close by as I'm scared he will get bitten in the crossfire. Eli actually doesn't retaliate he's very submissive but she takes it too far every time which is unfair on him as I don't want it to ruin him as a dog himself. I think he needs to go to an only dog home or home with a less dominant dog. He can only go to a home that can provide the exercise and mental stimulation as he's a very high energy dog. I have 3.5 acres of land so I have everything to offer but it's not enough as the other dog was here first. Please only serious enquiries only as I can't even think about the heart ache it's going to cause me to do this but he deserves so much more than the bullying he gets and the worry of him being killed by the horses. He's amazing with kids so kids are fine. He hasn't got a nasty bone in his body with people.
