Description
I am looking to sell my Alexandrine parrot, approximately 18 months old. This parrot is highly interactive, talks a lot, and is trained to perch on your hand when you say "step up." It jumps onto your hand readily and enjoys eating directly from your hand when you offer food through its cage. One of its cutest habits is eating at the same time as you—when you sit down to eat at the dining table, it goes to its dining pot in the cage and starts eating too.
The parrot is very friendly, loves to give kisses, and dances joyfully when outside the cage. It also enjoys flying around freely when out of its cage. For baths, it showers on its own in the cage, but I occasionally spray it myself, which it really enjoys. It drinks vitamins or tea slowly and happily when offered with a spoon. Its favorite food is biryani rice, and in the mornings, it loves seeded bread with spread on it, especially biscuits. If given anything else before the bread, it might give a little scream as if to say, "This isn't what I was expecting—where’s my bread?"
I would like this parrot to go to a loving family who can give it the attention it deserves. The reason for selling is that my two sons are now busy with school and after-school activities, and I feel we are unable to provide the time and care it needs.
The parrot is being sold for £499 (Free cage-worth £250). If you’re interested, please feel free to contact me.
