🏡 Loving Home Needed for Ruby & Rosie – Standard Dachshunds 🐾❤️ This is an incredibly difficult decision for me. I have genuinely tried to find a way to keep Ruby and Rosie and make things work, but unfortunately, despite trying, my circumstances mean it just hasn’t worked out. I now need to put their needs first and find them the loving, permanent home they deserve. 🐾 Ruby (Mum) – Ruby is a very loving girl who absolutely adores attention, children and food! She is currently overweight, so she needs regular daily walks, a controlled diet and plenty of love and attention. Ruby was previously attacked by another dog at the park, so for her safety and comfort, they need to go to a home with no other dogs or cats. 🐾 Rosie (Daughter) – Rosie is Ruby’s daughter and is extremely bonded to her mum. They must be rehomed together. I previously tried separating them, but it became clear that they really need each other. Rosie must only be walked on an extendable lead and should not be let off the lead when out on walks. ❤️ They are both standard Dachshunds, and I will only consider a loving and responsible home where they can remain together. This decision is purely due to personal housing circumstances and not being able to give them the time and attention they deserve. It is not a decision I have made lightly, and I really did try to keep them. Please message me privately if you are genuinely interested and can offer Ruby and Rosie a permanent home together with no other pets. 🏡🐾❤️

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
