Description
Didi’s story is one of survival and spirit.
At just 3 months old, she was run over by a motorbike. A passerby who saw this rushed her to a vet clinic, but as a stray, no one would cover the cost of surgery so she sat there on pain killers but nothing more was done. Against the odds, her tiny bones healed together on their own, but slightly squiffy. Today, more than two years later, she carries only a slight hip tilt, but it doesn’t hold her back one bit. She runs, plays, and uses her litter box with no issues at all.
Sadly, Didi has spent most of her young life in a vet cage. While she is well cared for and loved by the clinic team, what she truly needs is a real home where she can stretch her legs, zoom to her heart’s content, and finally know the comfort of family life.
We have recently become aware of, and taken on Didi's case and responsibility for her future now rests with us. We don't want to let her down.
Didi is playful, smart, and full of energy when given the space to shine. She loves to explore, chase toys, and then curl up in a cozy spot for her naps, often covering her face in the sweetest way. She’s a little warrior wrapped in fur, with so much love and joy to give.
Now she’s waiting, hoping, for the chance to leave the cage behind and start her forever chapter with someone who sees the beautiful survivor she is.

If you can offer Didi a life outside of her cage and finally into a loving forever home for the first time in her life, then please reach out - we'd love to hear from you. We will send you a link to complete our pre-adoption form online and we will also require a home check video as part of our adoption process. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let us know and one of our small team of volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please note: Every Cat Matters is an indoor-only rescue. This means all our cats should be kept in a safe, enriching indoor environment, unless they have access to a secure cat-proof garden, catio, or netted balcony.
We believe cats can live full, happy lives without free roaming outdoors. Keeping them safe indoors protects them from road accidents, injuries, contagious illnesses, and territorial fights—while also helping to preserve local wildlife. With love, enrichment, and security, indoor cats truly thrive.
