🌼 Meet Mavis – A Beautiful, Loyal Girl Looking for Her Perfect Match 🌼
Mavis was rescued in Cyprus and is currently living near Evesham.
Mavis is a loving, loyal, and sensitive girl who forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. She is nervous by nature, but once you are “her person,” she gives you her whole heart. She loves gentle interaction, enjoys a paddle in water, likes her toys (especially tennis balls and her beloved squeaky pheasant!), and she has a particular passion for hunting down molehills.
She is good on the lead, has good recall, is clean in the home and can be left for 3–4 hours.. She also travels well in the car and loves the adventures a car journey brings.
Mavis does have a cheeky streak — she’s a bit of a food thief — so best not to leave your dinner unattended. When you are eating she will not bother you and is very well mannered.

🐶 Mavis & Other Dogs
Mavis can be unsure at first but is generally okay with other friendly dogs once introductions are properly managed. She may benefit from living with another calm, confident dog who can help guide her.

👨👩👧 Mavis & People / Children
Mavis is wary of strangers, and for this reason, she is suitable for an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers.

🏡 The Home Mavis Needs
Mavis will thrive in a home that can offer:
✨ A calm, experienced, confident owner
✨ A couple or single adult home; older teens considered
✨ A dog-savvy household committed to ongoing support and confidence building
✨ A secure, larger garden where she can play, explore, and enjoy life
✨ Another calm, steady dog could work, but no cats please.
✨ A home that understands her boundaries and will advocate for her
✨ A predictable environment with calm introductions to new people
With the right people, Mavis will blossom into the amazing, affectionate companion she truly is. She is loving, quirky, bright, and loyal — she just needs someone who will give her the understanding and structure she deserves.
