Basil is a super stamp of a horse with a lot of presence in the show ring!
He has been schooled well on flat, snaffle mouthed, done a bit of dressage, local showing, showjumping and done numerous pleasure rides!
He loves hacking totally safe on the roads etc my daughter takes him everywhere and has also done a couple of hunt rides with him!
Basil can live in or out, has never reared/bucked and shows no malice in himself at all! He really is your gentle giant!
All the kids on our yard groom him and he is a sweetheart with the farrier/dentist etc!
However...Basil is definately more leg than go and that is the heartbreaking but ONLY reason why Basil is up for sale!
He loves the XC would happily pop logs and fences all day long! However with the showjumping he will do a course no problem but will need that bigger rider to get him to go as Basil can be a little lazy!
This is a heartbreaking sale and as he is my daughter's pony we ask that this be serious enquires only!
