Description

We love Mara so much and this has been a really hard decision having put in so much ground work with her but our living in a shared house and working situation are proving too difficult with her aboard. She’s full of energy! Has great recall the majority of the time - she’ll do anything for ham. She’s very well trained in the majority of things - sit, stay, lie down, off, on, spin, face, teeth, nose, heel, drop (very inconsistent, loves a ball), stop and away (still learning). She is 7 months old so is of course still very much a puppy. Her biggest vices are stealing socks etc and she does love to be with her humans - both a positive and negative. She can be a bit nervous around bigger or faster dogs or if she’s outnumbered - but this has never displayed itself in aggression, just an unhappy tail and running away from the dog in question. But she loves other dogs in general, just a bit over keen to play! She can be bark-y around bicycles and motorbikes. I think she’d love to live in a house with another dog. I also think the entertainment of a mate would kerb her wanting to steal the washing. She loves to learn new things and responds really well to training and positive reinforcement. Also loves a game of tug and a tennis ball. She sleeps through 10pm-7am no problem. Is crate trained and still on enforced naps. Absolutely loves peanut butter. Good to lead walk. Good travelling in the car and happy to chill there in a carpark while we gym etc. She’s been having monthly checks at the vet’s and is learning about teeth brushing which has been fairly easy. She’s vaccinated, chipped and wormed. She hates the rain. We would need to be sure the home she’s going to is right for her so have tried to make this as honest of an advert as possible!
