Description

Last pups price lowered due to time wasters. Vet checked, microchipped and first inoculation done. We only have the pink girl left. She is an adorable little girl who loves melting in for a cuddle. We call her Winnie as we were calling her mini Wilfred. Mum is Mariska a Shih Tzu, dad is Wilfred a Bichon Frise (photo added). This cross is what people also call the teddy bear puppy. They are a F1 so a first generation cross, parents are pure-bred dogs. This is Mariska's first litter, she is 4 years old. The colours are that of a Shih Tzu. The brown will generally fade into a apricot colour and the black will be grey. The puppies are in the front room and love humans. Both parents can be seen. Both breeds are called Velcro dogs, they want to be with their human all the time. Toilet, bath, they want to be there. So they would suit someone who is at home a lot, whether that be working from home, working part time or retired. Both breeds are the ultimate loving companion and as a cross of both breeds the puppies will be too. If you have small children you will have to supervise as they are obviously small puppies and can get injured easily. My niece is 7 and she was fantastic with them and my nephew is 4 and a bit giddy. They are adorable and I am keeping one of the puppies myself. They are lucky enough to have a lot of input from both parents. They will require grooming, and i have started to get them used to a brush and their eyes will need wiping. I have trimmed the fur to help. I am at home with them so they are popped on a puppy mat to wee. They have accidents but are quite good for 5 weeks. Shih Tzu's are notoriously difficult to toilet train so an early start seemed appropriate. They have been weaned on Royal Canin Shih Tzu puppy biscuits and raw turkey meat mixed in. Both parents have a mix of biscuits and raw meat. I am currently using a whistle when popping the food down to start them on recall which is the most important command. I am also using treats to teach them to sit. Please ask any questions you need as all the puppies are very different, for example there is a male I call teddy because he is very curly, another I call Beau because he is a handsome little chap. He however has gorgeous straight, and very soft hair, his other brother has the same very soft hair. They are held a lot, especially by my youngest daughters (17 and 18) and my 17 year old's boyfriend has fallen in love with one of the females. Which is the pic where one is asleep in his arm. I have lots of videos and photos. I have put them down to be available at 10 weeks I will also keep until 12 weeks if required as this time with their parents are important for a well rounded puppy. They will be microchipped and have their first inoculation so will also be vet checked. They are being wormed using Drontal.
