———These axolotls are 3 months old now and are approx 3inch in size.
I have a mix of colours available, albino, luecistic and wild type which look to have purple gill floofs.
These young axolotls eat daily on a mixture of live food and frozen assuring good nutritional balance is offered in their diet. It also makes them easier to feed as they will be used to whatever food can be easiest for you to get hold of. As they get to adult size the best food for them are earth worms. These are very healthy axolotls and growing well.
They are only a few months old, and still have a lot of growing to do. Axolotls normally grow between 7-11 inches in length, but this can also be exceeded or reduced dependant on their environment. Minimum size tank when fully grown 3ft around 100ltrs. These are currently in a 40ltr but growing fast.
At this age a bare bottom tank is a must as they can eat sand and become impacted and die. Once they reach 6inch in size they can go on very fine sand not gravel.
These young axolotls need good loving homes to someone who knows what they are doing. I am happy to advise or assist any buyers who are purchasing an axolotl for the first time.
Their parents are very healthy, unrelated and you have no reason to suspect they will have any problems with any genetic mutations as they grow.
