Sadly due to a relationship breakdown we are having to rehome our reptiles. Flame is our incredibly handsome crested gecko. We are unsure of his exact age however believe he is around 13-14yrs old.
Flame has been part of our therapy team visiting schools, carehomes and community groups for the past 2.5yrs. He has been extremely well handled however he began to find the work stressful therefore we stopped taking him to sessions and we have not handled him much for the last year. We get huge enjoyment from just watching him explore his enclosure and he is happier which is the most important thing.
Flame eats watermelon Pangea which is offered 3 times a week. We have tried offering him live bugs which he will not eat (apparently in his previous home he also wouldn’t eat them!)
Flame must go with his bioactive Viv which I have customised using cork bark, silicone, live plants, branches, and some fantasy elements too (for my own amusement!). Extremely heavy and cannot be dismantled therefore will likely need 4 people to move and a large car or van. Viv can be lifted off the cabinet underneath for transporting.
