Description

Par Online £500 This is Louis, our orange-winged Amazon parrot, we are unsure of his age as he lost his birth certificate with a previous owner but have estimated him to be between 20-30 years old. He is not hand tamed but will let you scratch his head and will fly over and sit on your lap if you have a treat. We have had louie for over 4 years but we are no longer able to give him the amount of time and attention he needs. He will need to go to someone with a lot of patience and commitment as he has a hard time trusting people. We believe that Louis is one of few types of Amazon parrot that do not speak but he may learn a few words in the right environment. Louis likes to whistle along to kitchen appliances or the tv but can become easily overwhelmed and quite vocal by loud noises such as dogs barking or music.
