We are sadly looking to rehome our lovely family dog Betty. Betty is a 2 year old labrador type.
Betty is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Betty came to us as she was the last puppy in her litter and the breeder could not find a home for her. We were told she was a working labrador and mum was a pure working labrador. She is most definitely on the small side though, and I would not be surprised if there was something else in her breeding.
She has lived in the house and was house trained. She knows basic commands, sit, stay, down, paw etc and walks to heal on the lead (sometimes she does need reminding). She is fantastic with other dogs, loves people and children.
We are looking for a new permanent home for her as unfortunately my other female dog has become very aggressive towards her. As a result Betty is now having to live in the kennel and due to me recently having a baby, she is not getting the attention or time she deserves.
She is a genuinely lovely dog that would suit a family. We will be very sad to see her go, but we know this is the right decision for her.
She would be able to live with other dogs, she can initially be a bit puppy like, licking faces and rolling around. She does soon calm down though and settle.
She has had her vaccinations and is up to date on worming/flee etc.
