Description
Berryedge Gundogs is a five-star licenced working gundog kennel based in County Durham. Our passion is to produce dogs fit for field sport with fantastic health, temperament and trainability.
Our dogs work throughout the shooting season both on small family run shoots and larger commercial estates across varied terrain.
We strive to carefully select our breeding plan to not only produce dogs for the field but also active pet companions.

Smudge is our homebred Springer Spaniel and one of our most trusted picking up dogs. As a second-generation Springer bred here at Berryedge, it has been incredibly rewarding to watch her develop into the reliable, hardworking and affectionate dog she is today.
We have carefully selected the stud to complement her and produce pups fit for purpose.
Gunner is a hard-working, biddable dog from Fosterwold Gundogs with no shortage of drive and enthusiasm. I had the pleasure of watching him work throughout the last shooting season and was consistently impressed by his energy, game-finding ability and willingness to work for his handler. He is an exciting dog to watch in the field and possesses the qualities we were looking for in this breeding.
Both parents are excellent examples of the breed in both looks and working ability, working 90+ days during the shooting season.

The puppies have been weaned on RAAW, a natural, grain-free ancestral diet packed with the necessary protein and loaded with all of the nutrients they need for the best start in life.
They have followed a Drontal worming plan alongside Fiproclear flea treatments.
To secure the puppy of your choice, a £200 non-refundable deposit is required.
