My parents recently moved house and sadly couldn’t take their dogs with them. A little while ago, I shared a post about their Labrador, Jake, needing a new home, and I’m so happy to say he’s now with a wonderful, loving family!
I had planned to keep their other dog, Lola, but with such a hectic family life, she’s been very lonely, and she truly deserves more love and attention than I can give right now.
Lola is a Chihuahua cross (we think Jack Russell!). She’s a sweet, affectionate little dog with a big personality. A few years ago, she was attacked by another dog and sadly lost one of her eyes. Because of that experience, she cannot be around other dogs.
She’s absolutely brilliant with my young children, but given her history, I’d feel more comfortable finding her a home without very young kids.
Ideally, she needs:
• A loving family with no other dogs
• Preferably no very young children
• Someone who can give her the time and attention she deserves
She’s fine with cats (though ours aren’t too keen on her!).
