Coca found in deep snow…
Coca came into foster in Bedfordshire on 10th May 2025.
Coca has already come such a long way in just a few short weeks in foster care. Although she’s still a little wary of new people, her confidence is growing every day. Deep down, all she truly wants is love—and once she learns to trust you, she gives her whole heart in return.
She’s completely house-trained, though it’s worth noting she may have the occasional accident as she adjusts to a new home and routine. Coca is good with other dogs and has been gentle around children. She hasn’t met any cats while in foster care, so we’re unsure how she might react.
She’s been left on her own for short periods (around an hour) and has coped well, though she thrives most in the company of others—especially other dogs. In fact, she really shines when she’s around canine companions and would make a wonderful friend for another calm and friendly dog.
One area Coca still struggles with is walking on the lead. Despite daily efforts and lots of gentle encouragement, she remains hesitant to step outside—even into the garden with a lead on. But after enduring many difficult years, it’s no surprise that she finds the outside world overwhelming. With patience, love, and support, we truly believe she will gain the confidence to explore beyond the home in her own time.
Coca is a sweet, happy little girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and cared for. She’s already made incredible progress—and with the right home, she’ll continue to blossom.

Her Story
Coca was found by a kind friend in a remote village during heavy snowfall. Concerned for her health, he brought her to the Orphan Animal Hospital in Galați. There, vets discovered a mammary tumour and performed surgery to remove her entire mammary chain. After her operation, he reached out to me for help—and that’s how Coca’s rescue journey began.
