Mooshi is a beautiful male Bengal, born 16 May 2023, and is looking for a carefully chosen, understanding home.
He was purchased from Hampstead Bengal on 1 January 2024 and comes from TICA-certified pedigree parents. This is a thoughtful rehoming, made with his long-term wellbeing as the sole priority.
**About Mooshi

**Personality & Temperament
Mooshi is a gentle, observant, and sensitive cat.
Although a Bengal, he is not high-octane or demanding. He is mellow, laid-back, and spends much of his time:
lounging comfortably
watching the world from windows
observing rather than demanding attention
He enjoys play in short bursts and especially loves his scratching tunnel.
He is curious, intelligent, and quietly affectionate in his own way.
Mooshi loves his food routines and looks forward to mealtimes — they are an important part of his sense of safety and structure.
He gets along well with calm, respectful cats, but does not enjoy overly dominant or boisterous companions.
**Important Background (Please Read Carefully)
Mooshi was originally adopted together with his brother Suki, to whom he was deeply bonded. Suki was the confident sibling, and Mooshi relied on him emotionally.
Tragically, Suki passed away suddenly in July 2025, which was a significant loss for Mooshi. Since then, he has slowly grown more independent, but he remains a sensitive cat with a heightened startle response around human handling.
Mooshi does not tolerate being picked up. Outside of necessary situations, this is respected. However, during moments such as vet visits or flea treatments, he can go into fight-or-flight mode, which is distressing for him.
Interestingly, once at the vet, he becomes submissive and compliant, suggesting that the anxiety is linked to handling and anticipation rather than aggression. He has previously soiled the carrier due to stress during travel, likely exacerbated by the lead-up.
This is not a behavioural “problem” — it is a trauma-shaped response, and in the right environment, with patience and experience, he has real potential to continue coming out of his shell.

Mooshi would suit a quiet household where he is allowed to exist without pressure, and where his relationship with a human can develop organically.
Breeders or resellers will not be considered.
