Louis is a very lovely young male cat who is looking for a home. He belonged to an old lady in Spain who developed dementia and was about to go into a care home and I was asked to rescue him and the other 6 cats in the home.
He's quite a character, he's had a few changes since he was rescued, he went to a shelter first and then to a temporary foster home and now to another one. He takes everything in his stride and when he arrives in new foster homes he walks round confidently, sussing out the new environment. He's an affectionate thing and likes to sit and nap on people. He's also very playful. He is very polite and to date hasn't jumped on the sides in his foster homes but that could change. He loves being with his human and follows you around.
One thing to bear in mind is that he does let you know if you do something he doesn't like, he sometimes grabs with his paws to ask you not to do something and also grabs with his mouth to ask for attention. This is not done aggressively and his foster Mums have managed him fine and have learnt what he doesn't like and how to manage him but it means he would do best in a home with adults or older children only.
He would prefer to be an only cat since he loves people but isn't so keen on other cats.
His colouration is Russian blue and he's stunning. He has his own special trademark which is some small white markings on his left hand side (see photo).
His adoption fee is a contribution towards the (much higher) costs of rescuing him and includes transport to the UK, chip, passport, vaccines, neutering and tests for Feline leukemia virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (both negative).
