Description

🇬🇧🐾 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED 🐾🇬🇧 ❤️🐶 LINDA– A Bright, Affectionate Young Girl Who Needs The Right Home 🐶❤️ 📍 Location: Derbyshire, DE22 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks free insurance provided upon adoption 🌟 💕 Linda is just 9 months old upper-medium to large girl. Linda is a strikingly beautiful mixed-breed girl, possibly with some German Shepherd heritage, and often receives compliments for her appearance. She is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys human contact. She arrived in the UK at the end of November and went into a foster-to-adopt trial together with her brother. Sadly, family is struggling to manage two big puppies with till many puppy traits and different needs. Linda now urgently needs a new foster or foster-to-adopt home, so she can continue her progress and settle properly on her own. ✨ Highlights • SIZE: Upper-medium to large (approx. 57 cm / 21 kg, still growing) • SPAYED: Yes • CHARACTER: Friendly • Affectionate • Energetic • Sociable • Intelligent • DOGS: Good with other dogs • CATS: not tested, better not • CHILDREN: Best with calm, dog-savvy children 10+ 💔 Background Linda was born in a war zone in Ukraine. Her mum, heavily pregnant, was rescued by soldiers from a ruined house on the frontline. The puppies survived against all odds and were raised safely in foster care, always waiting for families of their own. After arriving in the UK, Linda was given a chance under a foster-to-adopt alongside her brother. While there is no conflict between them, they simply do not have compatible needs, and both would do far better apart. 🐾 What Her Foster Says “Linda is a very pretty mixed-breed dog — possibly with some German Shepherd — and she often gets compliments for her striking appearance. She is friendly and affectionate and loves having her tummy rubbed.” “She is young, energetic and still learning, so she will need continued structure and training. She gets on well with other dogs and enjoys being around people, but she can get very excited when greeting familiar faces. This shows as jumping up and mouthing — something we’ve been working on and seeing progress with, but it will need to be continued in her next home.” “She is making good progress with her house training. She sleeps through the night, with only the occasional accident.” “She is happy going for walks and is generally good on the lead. She enjoys sniffing and would love to be off lead one day, but she’s not quite ready for that yet.” “She has been left in the house with another dog for a few hours and everything was absolutely fine and intact.” “We truly believe Linda will suit an active home that can give her time, patience and ongoing guidance. She is a lovely, friendly dog — just still showing some puppy behaviours that need work.” “We would love to keep her, but because her brother is also here, and although they get on well, their needs don’t match and together they won’t thrive. Apart, we believe they will both do really well.” 🏡 Ideal Family Linda will thrive in an active, patient home that understands young dogs and is happy to continue training and guidance. She would suit people who enjoy walking, outdoor time, and building a bond through shared activity. She can live with another well-matched dog, but she needs her own space, without competing needs, so she can fully relax and mature. A home that can offer time, consistency, and clear boundaries will see her blossom into a wonderful companion. 🩺 Health Information Linda is fully healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided). 💞 Linda has done nothing wrong. She simply needs the right setup to succeed — and she needs it urgently.
