Lizzie was rescued from a cattle farm in Romania that was closing down — all the dogs were at risk of being taken to the pound. She’s now safe in foster in Hartlepool and ready to find her perfect forever home.
Lizzie was adopted before but sadly returned when things didn’t work out. She showed signs of jealousy with the resident dog, so we’re ideally looking for a home where she can be the only dog or with a calm companion who can help her learn where she fits in.
✨ Once she trusts you, Lizzie is cheeky, loving, and a cuddle monster. She’s a little shadow with her waggy tail and stumpy legs, following you from room to room.
✨ Quiet and gentle — she doesn’t bark, shows no separation anxiety, and is fully house trained.
✨ Loves a bit of your dinner and a good belly rub!
✨ Lead training is ongoing — she’s a stubborn little statue at times, but improving slowly.
Lizzie needs a quiet home with a secure garden, ideally with a retired person or couple who can give her time, patience, and love.
