Are you ready to welcome a truly special kitty into your life?
Meet Fluffy: a stunning, affectionate, and resilient cat who has survived the harsh realities of life on the streets of Bulgaria.
FLUFFY'S STORY
About a year ago, my boyfriend and I discovered Fluffy and her siblings as tiny kittens on the streets of Bulgaria, where we currently live. We instantly fell in love with her goofy personality and have cared for her and her family every day since. But back in February, tragedy struck. When my partner went to feed Fluffy, he found her crying, struggling to drag her injured leg. Some sick individual had begun shooting stray cats from a city balcony, and Fluffy was one of the victims.
We rushed Fluffy to the vet, where an X-ray revealed a bullet lodged in her front leg. She underwent surgery and, after several weeks of healing, has finally started using her leg again. We even found a second wound on her chest from another bullet in the chest a week later. Miraculously, this one hadn’t penetrated. She survived against all odds and deserves a safe, loving home where the only thing flying toward her is treats.
As much as we love Fluffy, we can’t be her forever home. We already share our lives with two free-roam rabbits and a dog, and with our annual 2,500-mile trip to the UK, we are stretched too thin to provide her with the attention she deserves. We were meant to be her rescuers, but you could be her family.
Sadly, Bulgaria has a devastatingly high rate of animal abandonment and abuse. We cannot, in good conscience, rehome Fluffy here, knowing she could end up abandoned, abused, or back on the streets, facing the same dangers she barely survived.

🐾 She is pretty fluffy (in case the name didn’t give that away)
If you think you could be Fluffy’s happy ending, please get in touch! Transport to the UK will happen in November where we have our annual trip, and the fee for buying her (adopting her) will cover some of the gas on the way from Bulgaria to the UK, and honestly, that’s a small price to pay to change a life - and gain a best friend for many years to to come. 💕
If you are interested in this sweet girl and think you could be the person that can provide her a loving forever home, please don’t hesitate to message - all questions are welcome!
