🦄 5-Year-Old Thoroughbred Ex-Point-to-Point – Project Horse 🦄
Sadly my 5-year-old 16.2 Thoroughbred gelding (ex point-to-point) as a project horse due to lack of time. He was bred by chantou and has lovely conformation and is ROR eligible.
When he came to me, he was very underweight and had a sore back. He is still slightly sore through his back, so I have focused mainly on groundwork rather than ridden work. He has not been brought back into ridden work yet, as he is still gaining condition. So will be sold from the field.
He has no previous racing injuries, though he does have some minor scar tissue on his front left leg – purely cosmetic and not affecting him. He also had a small field injury which left some superficial cuts.
He is a brave and willing horse with a lot of potential, but will need time, patience, and further condition before being ridden. When I first got him, he was seen to windsuck, but I have not seen this since using Cribox.
