We are extremely sad to be looking for a new home for our beautiful girl Rowena. She is 2 years old at the end of February.
Rowena is a loving, dopey, slobbering bundle of fun who loves as cuddle (thinks she's a lap dog), loves kids and loves other dogs. She's an amazing dog who I've developed a deep bond with but we have realized that we bit off more than we can chew when buying her.
We are rehoming her through no fault of her own. We have a son with autism who, as she has gotten a lot bigger, has become very nervous around her which has meant that we have had to keep her separate from him as much as possible. Therefore we have been unable to walk her as much as she needs which has lead to her not being great on her lead. This has also meant the she gets very excited for the first hour that she's given the run of the house because she's not able to have that freedom all the time.
She is great with our other smaller dog and is amazing with my daughter who is 3. They snuggle up together on the sofa. She just needs someone who can give her the time and experience. She is house trained and we never have any issues with accidents.
She hasn't been spayed but she cannot be used for breeding as she has vaginal hyperplasia which only effects her during her heat cycle. This has been monitored by a vet and they advised for her to be spayed once she has fully grown (matured).
