This is Sox. She came to us when she was just a few months old as a staffy cross. As time went on, we soon realised she was not a staffy, but we believe she is a Heeler Mix (Australian cattle dog possibly). This has started to reflect in her characteristics.
She is very independent and confident which is true to a Heeler. She knows all her basic commands, is great off lead and will heel walk at your side. She really is an incredible dog, but as a family we just cannot keep up with her working line heritage. She needs a job! We have 4 children and Sox can be unsettled around our younger two. She would suit an older family possibly on a farm or with a more country lifestyle.
Sox gets on well with our other dog, however, she can sometimes bark at other dogs on walks (it’s all just noise and again, very true to a Heeler). She is extremely loyal and will be your shadow.
We are gutted to be rehoming her, but we have to do what’s right for her and ensure that she only goes to a 5 star home. We will be vetting people fully so please don’t be offended if we do not think you’re suitable.
