A very hard but necessary decision to re home our beautiful Sky.
We have had her from 8 weeks old. She is lovely natured, never growled or snapped at all. She just isnt keen on being alone and is a very nervous girl around peopel and crowds.
We have extremely busy lives, farming and rallying, it's not suited to sky at all which forces our decision. She hates it. Its the right decision for her.
Sky has lived full time with our 11yr old cocker spaniel but now, because he is older and tires quickly, she can be a bit much for him and can bully him a little at times. She wants to play play play and likes it her way. She gets on very well with all dogs and wants nothing more than to run and play. She has excellent recall but as I said, she is very nervous around people. Especially delivery drivers. She wouldn't hurt a fly, she purely barks out of fear.
Sky is quite greedy, but she is a teenager. We feed her in a puzzle bowl to slow her down a bit. She is on 60/40 dry/wet dog food and not a fussy eater! She is quite pully on lead but mostly she runs free and comes back straight away, well, maybe after a sniff. Sky is up to date with all her jabs and is microchipped. She has not yet had her 1st season.
She loves to cuddle and have a carry. She thinks she is a lap dog at times! If you are the type of person who wants a cuddle in bed with your dog, Sky would be your girl. Just we aren't that sort of dog parent!
She is fabulous with kids, never seen her with a baby though. She is jumpy and lively but she is very young.
We will only consider genuine lovely people to give her the best home.
