💙 Beautiful 21-Week-Old Blue Merle Tri-Colour Border Collie Pup Looking for His Forever Home 💙
This is genuinely one of the hardest things I’ve had to write, and it breaks my heart – but we’ve come to the difficult decision to rehome our gorgeous Border Collie pup Rex.
He’s 21 weeks old, a stunning blue merle tri-colour, and bursting with love, intelligence, and energy. He’s been raised in a family home, crate trained, fully toilet trained (he goes outside), and already knows his basic commands – sit, lay down, give paw – and has been attending weekly puppy educational classes since we brought him home. He even won Best Puppy at a local dog show just a few weeks ago – and he’ll come with his rosette too.
He’s fantastic on walks, both on and off lead, and is very well socialised with other dogs, loves playing fetch with his ball and loves water. He does get a little overexcited when meeting new people, and sometimes chases cars – which is typical of his breed's herding instinct – but he’s not aggressive in the slightest. Just full of beans and love.
Sadly, despite how wonderful he is, he’s just a little too big and bouncy for our very young children. One of them is really struggling with his puppy energy, and while it’s absolutely no fault of his own, we know it’s not fair to keep him in an environment that isn’t quite right for him. He needs a home where he can thrive – ideally with lots of space, stimulation, and people who understand the energy and intelligence of his breed.
