I am a small scale hobby breeder of Apricot and Blue Fawn Call Ducks. From this years small hatch I have 4 Females ready to go to a new home. They would be suitable to go as a small group or to be split in to two's. I do not sell single ducks under any circumstances. Call Ducks are a miniature breed and make very suitable garden pets. They become very tame with time spent with them and gentle handling. Due to their compact size they do not cause damage to flower beds. They do not need a pond (although they would like one) but must be provided with a water container for drinking and bathing in. They will need fox-proof accommodation (especially for night time) and some safe free ranging for enrichment and to balance their diet. Female Calls do quack and can be quite loud and noisy when they are young but they do settle once they are familiar with their surroundings and human friends. Calls are delightful and amusing gardening companions. They are generally very healthy and can live for 10+ years. Please give careful consideration to this commitment before replying to this advert.
