Freddo (Fred) was born on the farm this April and currently lives out with a shelter accessible, in a mixed herd of Shetlands.
Fred is very quiet and kind, I do not believe he would take much to start in his education, but he is green as he has not yet started this. His mother and father both have an excellent temperament, around people and horses, true little star ponies.
A fabulous little blank canvas, Freddo is not one to miss, while he would be quite happy as a companion I think he would make a great little kids pony for someone who is happy to put the time into teaching and backing him. Or alternatively he is entire so would be just as nice to go on as a breeding stallion.
His dad was 7hh and mum is 7.2hh so will make approximately the same
Galaxy (Gaz)
Gaz born early May this year, and currently lives out with Freddo and the rest of the herd. While he does have access to a large shelter he has a lovely thick coat and I never see him inside so I’m sure would be happy living out 24/7.
Gaz is another blank canvas, having lived here with his family since he was born, but is now ready to start his education with somebody. His dad was 7hh so I expect he will make the same.
We are in absolutely no rush to see Gaz go as he is a lovely little character with buckets of personality but always careful and kind around people. He is not halter broken but quite happy to come for a treat so I can’t imagine this would be very difficult to teach him.
