Exceptional Health-Tested F1b Sprocker Puppies
We are delighted to announce a very special litter from our much-loved Sprocker bitch, Sloop, by the award-winning working Cocker Spaniel Kerdat Warpaint.
This is an F1b Sprocker litter, meaning the puppies are bred from a Sprocker dam back to a working Cocker Spaniel sire. They are therefore approximately 75% Cocker Spaniel and 25% Springer Spaniel.
This pairing should produce intelligent, affectionate and highly trainable puppies with a stronger Cocker influence, while retaining the versatility, enthusiasm and wonderful character for which Sprockers are so well known.
This is not a casually bred litter. The pairing has been carefully planned with health, temperament, trainability, working ability and suitability for active homes all given serious consideration.
The litter includes a beautiful variety of colours and markings, including black and white puppies and puppies expected to develop roan colouring as they grow.

Sloop
Sloop is our beautiful black and white Sprocker and a much-loved member of the Greenaways family.
She is bright, affectionate, trainable and full of personality, with the happy, enthusiastic spaniel nature that makes these dogs so rewarding in the right homes.
Sloop is active, biddable and keen to please, while also being kind and settled within the home. She has a wonderful combination of Cocker and Springer qualities, including intelligence, affection, enthusiasm and versatility.

Sloop has undergone all relevant and available health testing for her breed and type. Health testing is something we take extremely seriously at Greenaways.
Sire
Kerdat Warpaint
The sire is Kerdat Warpaint, an award-winning working Cocker Spaniel whom we have used previously and selected again with great care.
He was chosen for the working type, temperament, trainability, natural ability and drive he can bring to this pairing.
Using a working Cocker Spaniel over Sloop means the puppies are expected to be more Cocker-influenced in their appearance and working style, while retaining the intelligence and versatility of a well-bred Sprocker.
We expect bright, affectionate, energetic and biddable puppies who will thrive with owners able to provide appropriate training, exercise and mental stimulation.
Health Testing at Greenaways
Health testing is non-negotiable at Greenaways.
Our dogs receive much more than a routine veterinary examination. We use the relevant recognised health schemes for each breed and type, including:
* DNA testing
* BVA hip scoring
* BVA elbow scoring
* BVA eye examinations
* Gonioscopy where appropriate
We do not breed from our own dogs unless they have completed the relevant health testing, and we expect outside stud dogs to meet the same high standards.
Our aim is always to breed responsibly and transparently, with the long-term health and wellbeing of every puppy firmly in mind.

As Sprockers are a crossbreed, the puppies cannot be Kennel Club registered as a recognised breed. However, they are bred from carefully selected and thoroughly health-tested parents, with full consideration given to temperament, health, working ability and suitability.

Every new owner receives our extensive Greenaways puppy guide.

We also provide ongoing support after collection. We believe responsible breeding continues long after a puppy leaves us, and we are always happy to support owners as their puppy grows.
Those who reserve a puppy receive regular updates throughout the rearing process wherever possible, including photographs, videos and news as the puppies reach important stages.
Reservations
There has already been considerable interest in this litter, and suitable homes will be prioritised.
Reservation places are secured by deposit only. Sadly, we are no longer able to hold puppies without a deposit because of previous last-minute withdrawals and loss of contact.
