LENNY IS IN THE CARE OF LURCHER LINK RESCUE
Lenny is currently about 20" to the shoulder and weighs about 16kg, but is still growing.
Lenny was given up by his previous owners due to a relationship split. He's currently in a foster home in NORTH WALES.
Lenny was very scared of people when he first arrive in foster - but within 2 days he had bonded with his foster carers and became a devoted boy who loves a snuggle
Lenny is scared when meeting strangers. He will need patient kind new owners who understand he needs time to build confidence and learn that people are not all bad. Lenny will need to be walked in a 3-point-harness to ensure he cannot bolt if frightened.
Friendly with other dogs, but typical of a young puppy Lenny has no concept of personal space or boundaries. Lenny will require at least one confident, tolerant, older dog in his new home to provide a role-model and help show him that people are not all scary.
Lenny loves children and has previously lived with them. He is less scared of them than adults.
Lenny loves treats and is very food-motivated, so is proving to be easy to train.
Nearly there with the toilet training. Sleeps through the night.
Lenny's fosterer says "I can’t stress at how much Lenny is gorgeous, both inside and out, however, he does have this insecurity with people and so his new home will have to be understanding of this and willing to work with him."
