💖🐶 DORA – A Little Frenchie Girl Searching for Safety, Stability & Love 🐶💖 🇬🇧🐾 UK SURRENDER – SWEET GIRL LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT HOME 🇬🇧 Location: East Midlands 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks ******************Plan insurance provided upon adoption 🐾 Meet Dora — a 4-year-old little French Bulldog girl whose life has been anything but steady. Passed from few homes, used to have pups, never truly understood, she is now surrendered to our rescue and finally has the chance to find forever home. What she needs most is kindness, stability, and someone who will help her finally feel safe. Small in size but overflowing with feelings, Dora is a sensitive, loving soul who wants nothing more than her very own human to attach herself to. With the right support she will flourish — she simply hasn’t had a fair chance before. ✨ Highlights • SIZE: Small (12 kg) • SPAYED/NEUTERED: Recently spayed • CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Loving • Sensitive • Insecure but eager to bond • Human-oriented • DOGS: Cannot live with other dogs; guarding issues in the home, good on walks • CATS: Not tested • CHILDREN: Best with older, calm, dog-savvy children (10+) • OTHER: Mild Separation anxiety • Toy/bone guarding from other dogs• Loves walks and watching the world from the window 💔 Rescue Story Dora’s past is sadly typical of a small dog used for breeding and passed around when things became inconvenient. Her most recent family tried hard, but Dora struggled badly living with their resident dog. She guarded toys, food, the sofa — everything she felt she needed to survive — and it created daily tension. Despite being loving with her humans, she simply could not cope sharing a home with another dog, and her owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so she could finally find a place where she isn’t constantly worried or overwhelmed. Dora deserves her first real chance at a stable, quiet, understanding home. 🐾 More About Dora 🐶 Dora is a sweetheart wrapped in insecurity. She adores her humans and bonds very quickly, often shadowing the person she feels safe with. She loves cuddles, gentle reassurance, and being close — she has a real need for connection after so many unstable experiences. But emotionally she is raw. She can be toy-possessive, food-possessive, and hypersensitive in a multi-dog home. Outside, she enjoys meeting small friendly dogs and loves the freedom of a walk; she especially loves sniffy woodland outings and watching squirrels. Indoors, though, she needs to be the only dog. She cannot relax otherwise. Dora is shy at first but warms beautifully to kind people. She does not bark much except when someone is at the door. She settles well in a crate overnight, sleeps through until early morning, and is happiest when she knows her person is nearby. She has mild separation anxiety and will need reassurance and gradual structure to help her feel secure. 🏡 Ideal Family 🐶 Dora needs a calm, gentle home where she is the only dog, with someone who understands sensitive breeds and can provide patient, consistent reassurance. She will thrive with a person or family who is home often, offers routine, warmth, and kindness, and who won’t overwhelm her with too many visitors or noise. Older dog-savvy children are fine, as long as they understand that she needs space around food and that she can be unsure when feeling overwhelmed. She would love a garden for regular toilet breaks and a peaceful environment where she can finally breathe out and settle. In the right home, Dora will blossom into the affectionate, devoted companion she’s always wanted to be. 🩺 Health Information Dora is fully healthy. Spayed by rescue. She has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. If you can offer Dora a safe, quiet, loving foster placement — or are interested in fostering-to-adopt — please get in touch. This little girl deserves her fresh start. 💌 If you can foster-to-adopt home, please fill out a form: 🔗 Foster-to-Adopt/Adoption Form : https://forms.gle/vHdDRdjFzXngqzUC9
