Description
This is one of the hardest and most emotional decisions our family has ever had to make. Due to worsening health and disability, we are no longer able to manage the care our two beautiful dogs deserve. Putting their welfare first means finding them a new forever home, even though it is absolutely heartbreaking for us.
Melody and Eclipse are bonded Zuchon half-sisters who have grown up together and must stay together. Melody is turning six this year and is our high-energy, playful girl who thrives on engagement and activity. Eclipse, who is turning five this year, is more chilled, gentle, and calm, and brings a lovely balance to them as a pair. They take great comfort from one another and separating them would be extremely distressing.
They are deeply loved and this decision has not been made lightly. We never imagined having to do this, but sadly our circumstances have changed and we can no longer give them the level of care, energy, and consistency they need. Choosing to put their needs above our own heartbreak feels like the kindest and most responsible thing we can do for them.
We are looking for a calm, loving home that understands bonded dogs and can offer them stability, patience, a whole load of love and a lifetime commitment together. A secure home with time and space for them to thrive would be ideal.
We are not in a rush and will take as long as needed to find the right home.
Melody and Eclipse mean the world to us, and their happiness and future matter more than anything.
