Beau is a striking Lab x Pointer with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and an eagerness to please. Behind his handsome face is a loyal, affectionate boy who just wants someone to believe in him. Once he bonds with you, he is incredibly loving, happiest when snuggled up close. 💕
He’s playful, clever, and has a big heart – but he also needs a calm, quiet environment where he can truly feel safe. Having endured a tough start, Beau can be wary around new people, especially men, but show him some kindness (and a few treats!) and he’ll soon warm up.
🐾 Beau’s Ideal Home:
• A quiet, adult-only home
• No cats (he’s very clear on this!)
• He may suit life as an only pet or with a calm, older female dog
• A secure garden to play in
• A patient adopter who will let him settle at his own pace
Beau enjoys his walks and travels beautifully in the car. He walks well on a lead, though his enthusiasm can bubble over at the start – he’s just so excited to explore the world! He’s also shown he can be clean in the home and sleeps well through the night in his own bed. 🐶
He doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs out on walks, and prefers to just enjoy his surroundings. He's more relaxed around women but will build trust with men too, given a little time and reassurance.
Beau is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he’s so ready for the next chapter in his life – one where he’s cherished, understood, and never left behind again.
