Description

6 x fresh pure Bresse Gauloise French chicken eggs Bresse Galouise chickens are a dual-purpose chicken breed – great for both eggsand meat. BresseGalouise chickens are known for their strong blue legs, however they do nothave blue feet or legs when they first hatch, the colour forms after about 2 ormore weeks, don't panic when they hatch, give them a few weeks and you'll haveblue legged chickens! Please be aware these are large birds- not bantams, they need plenty of space, ideally free range. PLEASEREAD: Eggsare believed to be fertile, however this is not guaranteed Our hens live with two Bresse cockerels, from different breeding stock, andhave done for over three months in a breeding group with plenty of outdoorspace and fed a good diet to ensure maximum fertility and health. We have successfully hatched eggs from this flock. Unfortunately, fertile eggs can sometimes get damaged in the postal system, even if the shellsare intact, if they are shaken up too much. They are packaged to reduce this asmuch as possible. Thecorrect incubation of your eggs, using either a good quality incubator, or areliable broody hen, will ensure more reliable hatching success. Let eggs stand at least 24 hours after arrival point end down prior toincubation. If using an incubator, make sure it is running at least 24 hours before settingeggs, temperature must be consistently at 37.5-38.5 degrees. Lowish humiditythe first 18 days, 40-60%, then up to 70-80% the last 3 days. When the chick's hatch you need to provide warmth, a heat brooder or lamp forat least the first month, they will need to be fed chick crumb and fresh waterand chick grit / oyster shell available.
