This handsome boy is Rufus, a Grand Griffon Vendeen. Rufus had been waiting for 3 years in the pound, presumably after being discarded by a hunter. Thankfully one of the wonderful shelters we work with took Rufus in to give him a chance of finding a family of his own. After being in the pound for such a long time, sadly Rufus arrived at the shelter in quite a state with matted fur and quite overweight. He is already starting to lose weight, and his beautiful coat is coming through. Rufus likes going for an explore but he’s also quite a calm boy. He is good with other dogs, but also not dependant on them, so he could be an only. He is also good with children and has been cat tested.
