This owner of this wonderful smile is Cody, a 10 year old mixed breed looking for his forever home. Don’t be fooled by his age - he’s full of bounce and energy. Cody is a people-pleaser, super-affectionate and great in the house and garden. After his people, his favourite thing is his ball, then a good walk.
We all have our flaws, and Cody’s is dog reactivity. He’s been responding really well to training, and has shown he can walk beside or behind another dog. However, another dog coming towards him triggers him - and then he is strong! Cody is therefor looking for an active, experienced owner who will continue to work on his reactivity with him. Ideally that person will have a fully enclosed garden and access to quiet walks. Cody will be looking for an adult-only home where he can enjoy being the only dog. No cats please.
Cody is neutered, and will be vaccinated and vet checked before adoption.
Our rescue coordinator will talk in detail to any potential applicants, who will need to meet Cody over two or three visits to ensure they are a good match for him.
