Description
Marshall is a young boy from a hunter who wanted rid of him. The hunter told us he was 7 months old and had no name. When he arrived at the shelter, he was absolutely terrified, skinny and looked like he was struggling with his back legs. We didn’t have to think for long what to call this special chap, he was named Marshall after one of our very kind and generous supporters. He has had x-rays at the vets which show that although one hip isn’t perfect, it’s not cause for concern and the other hip is fine so with a good diet and gaining some muscle mass, he should be looking better very soon! Looking at the x-rays, the vet also thinks he is closer to 11 months old so Marshall’s DOB is an estimate.
Marshall would really benefit from a home with other dogs as, although he is settling in at the shelter, a buddy who can show him the ropes and teach him that he doesn’t need to be so scared would really help him gain confidence and adapt. He’s a really beautiful boy and is very well behaved although we hope his cheeky side might come out when he gains some more confidence! He’d suit a home with no young children best with adopters who can take things at his own space and show him the world doesn’t have to be so scary. Marshall is very young and has all the time in the world to gain confidence and become the amazing dog we know he is under all that fear!
Marshall is due to travel to UK foster soon or can ideally travel straight to their forever home.
