Description
MARSHALL is about 6 years old and large in size. He can live with a female dog. Any children in the home would need to be older and dog-savvy (preferably teenage or older). He’d like a calmer home with a private garden.
This super fella may be a big boy, but he thinks he’s about the size of a Yorkshire Terrier! This is made clear by his goofy, playful streak – he clearly doesn’t know his size.
He adores squeaky rubber balls, and will even fall asleep with one still in his mouth!! Marshall loves interacting with toys, and those he loves and trusts. He also knows a few tricks like sitting on command, giving a paw and going to his bed.
Marshall enjoys his walks, but he really doesn’t require a very active lifestyle. His favourite activity is snoozing outside in the warm sunshine. In fact, he is quite happy chilling outside in the rain too.
When out on walks, Marshall is very good on the lead. He is happy to pass both people and dogs without a bother. He is happier to interact with female dogs (whether energetic or calm) and has been able to make friends with female dogs at the kennels.
Despite being a bigger dog, he is a bit of a shy fella when it comes to meeting new people. He is wary at first, but after a couple of visits and a bag of treats (or two!) he can become your best friend. Once he knows and trusts you, he is incredibly loyal and affectionate.
Marshall has successfully lived in a home before, and so we know he is house trained and crate trained. During this time he became used to being left for short periods of time with no issue. Sadly, it didn’t work out for him because it was a busy multi occupant home, and he needs a more predictable and calm life.
It is definitely time for Marshall to find his way back out of the kennels now and into a home.
As we’re sure you’ll agree, Marshall is a very handsome boy. However, he thinks he would look even more attractive sat on your sofa.
