Jodie was rescued from the streets in Hungary and was adopted in UK when she was 9 months old. Sadly the family wants to give up on her doe to change of their circumstances. We looking for a very loving committed home for Jodie to love her for her lifetime.
Temperament: Jodie is an affectionate dog who is very loyal to her family. She is generally well-behaved, though she can be reactive to other dogs and sometimes people, especially if they startle her.
Likes: Jodie loves walks, chewing bones, and getting plenty of attention from her people, snuggling in blankets.
Dislikes: Jodie can be nervous around strangers, especially when they come to the house. She needs time and patience to adjust to new people in her environment.
House-trained: Yes
Good with kids/pets: We recommend a home without children. She can be a bit nervous and needs a calm, stable environment to thrive.
What Jodie Needs:
A patient and understanding home where she can continue her training, especially around people coming to the house.
Jodie is great at being left alone while her people are at work and is no trouble at night – she makes no fuss. She’s mostly good on walks but can be reactive to other dogs.
She would benefit from continued training to help with her reactivity and fear of new people entering the home.
We believe Jodie would do best in a calm household without children, where she can receive the attention and time needed to help her become more comfortable with strangers and continue her progress. She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for the right person or family.
