Jack is almost 4 years old & a mixed breed boy originally from Romainia. He weighs just over 14kg and is neutered. He is in foster with a dog called Marley, and they love doing zoomies, though Jack also enjoys just chilling by himself.
Jack loves people once he knows them, but he can take a little time to relax and get to know strangers. He responds well to kindness and positive reinforcement. He walks well on lead and is fine around traffic. He is loving being in foster, and enjoying many new experirnces, inclusing trips to cafés and the beach. He is polite when meeting new dogs and people.
We are looking for a home with one or two friendly, well socialised dogs of a similar size, or a home with a garden where Jack can chill. He can be an only dog and can be left for several hours.
Jack travels well in the car. He also knows a number of commands such as 'sit' and 'stay'.
We are looking for an adopter who is consistent in their training, using positive reinforcement and who will introduce Jack to new experiences in a kind and supportive way. Jack will make a super companion in the right home but because he can be nervous of some people we will not rehome him to a home with children or where children visit regularly.
