Description
Eurydactylodes vieillardi, known as Vieillards chameleon gecko's. They are a rare species of gecko found in New Caledonia. They are small in size reaching up to 13g for females and 6g for males, up to 5.5cm in length from nose to tip of tail. They are very easy to keep. A basking spot of 28c and a cool side of no lower than 20c. Enclosure size recommended for 1-2 is 30cmx30cmx45cm. Their diet is a mix of fruit and insects, I feed pangea gecko diet 3 times a week and dusted fruit flies once a week.
Females can live in pairs or trios, males need to be kept solitary or with 1 or two unrelated females. A trio would need to be kept in a 45cmx45cmx45cm enclosure.
