Easter Eggers, these are the coloured egg layers available from the Poultry Paddock in Newcastle under Lyme.
They're a hybrid hen derived from araucanas and selected laying breeds to produce a hens that each have their own individual appearance and character. Some will have crests, some will have tufts, some will have pea combs, some will be rumpless but all will be prolific layers of green or blue eggs and have the hybrid vigour of the laying hens.
The hens are vaccinated in line with the recommendations of a leading poultry Vet.
The hens are sold at point of lay.
The Poultry Paddock opens by appointment (Monday to Saturday, sorry closed Sundays) for hen sales.
