Sweet natured Little Mouse is looking for his forever home!

Little Mouse is a charming Podenco with a gentle soul and a heart of gold.
Now thriving in his UK foster home in Salisbury, Little Mouse is doing well! He’s still building his confidence but adores his foster family and follows them everywhere. He’s great with other dogs and enjoys his off-lead play in secure areas.
He’s not a fan of car rides – he’ll happily jump in, but the journey itself makes him uncomfortable, and he really does not enjoy it. However, once he arrives, he enjoys whatever’s next, whether it’s a walk, meeting friends, or playtime.
IDEAL HOME:
• A quieter household, ideally with at least one another friendly dog to help build his confidence.
• No young children – Little Mouse thrives in a calm environment; a busy household may be overwhelming for him.
• Ideally, someone home most of the time – he loves company!
• Experience with nervous dogs or Podencos is a bonus.

BACKGROUND:
Rescued from a rural pound in Spain, he was once so timid he would hide at the back of his kennel but once at the shelter, he started to get relax more.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, homecheck and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
