Reggie is looking for a loving, rural or quiet home where he can truly thrive.
Reggie is an incredibly sweet, food-loving boy who will steal your heart and try to steal your snacks!
In his current London home, Reggie finds daily life very stressful. His walks are tough for him — just stepping out the door means facing a lot of his triggers, and he often ends up panicking and pulling hard to get home, where he then takes time to calm down. Outside of the city, he’s shown just how confident and curious he can be when given space and calm surroundings.
When visiting quieter places, Reggie is a different dog: calmer, happier, and much more resilient when seeing other dogs or unexpected things.
At home, Reggie is a snuggly foodie who brings you his chews, bones, and Kongs to hold while he enjoys them. He is good at settling with enrichment activities like slow feeders but is sensitive to sounds, so would love a quiet home. He is known to resource guard high value items, so this will need to be managed correctly in his new home. Reggie also suffers from separation anxiety, but is making progress, being happy when company is nearby. We will offer full support from our behaviourist to make sure Reggie’s new family know how to work through any issues such as these.
Reggie really needs a calm rural or semi-rural home — the city is just too much for him. He would benefit from a secure garden for his zoomies and sniffing adventures, and most of all needs a patient and understanding family who will help him to keep building confidence.
Reggie has so much love and potential to give, and we are desperate to see him in an environment where he can truly thrive. If you think you can offer Reggie the peaceful, joyful life he deserves, we would love to hear from you.
