Hugo is a sweet boy who loves nothing more than spending time with his favourite human. He has anxiety issues and is reactive to other dogs when on the lead. He also has separation anxiety and doesn’t like being on his own for long periods of time, for this reason he will need to be with someone who is home for most of the day, although he can be left for a few hours here and there.
He has allergies to protein so is on a hydrolysed diet but he does love the odd carrot as a treat. He is on medication for his anxiety and stomach issues.
Hugo is very nervous of strangers coming into the house but if he is ignored he soon comes for cuddles and kisses in his own time once he knows you are no threat to him but this is something to be mindful of. I think Hugo would benefit from being the only pet in the household as he does like a lot of love and attention although he does get on with other dogs just not when he is on the lead as he feels threatened.
Unfortunately, I do not feel I can give him everything he needs and feel he would be so much happier and relaxed with someone who can.
