This beautiful girl with the gentle eyes is Bijou – a loyal, playful soul looking for her second chance at forever.
Bijou was rescued in Cyprus and has been in her UK home since April 2023. Sadly, due to a change in her family's circumstances, she’s now in need of a new loving home.
She’s medium-sized, full of fun, and absolutely adores playing fetch – her ball is never far away! Bijou is also a big fan of her toys and behaves beautifully around food. She's fully housetrained, sleeps well through the night, and is a brilliant passenger on car journeys.
Bijou is a sensitive girl – she hasn’t had much opportunity to meet lots of new people, so she can be shy at first. But once she bonds with you, she gives her heart fully and completely. She’s the kind of dog who will become your shadow – your quiet little best friend.
She could happily live with a friendly, neutered male dog. She hasn’t lived with female dogs before, so we’re unsure how she’d respond. She’s not suited to a home with cats.
Bijou hasn’t had much exposure to young children, so we’re looking for a home with older, dog-savvy kids.
💉 She is vaccinated and microchipped.
