Description

We’re looking for a loving, permanent home for our beautiful one-year-old girl. She was born in our family home, and I held her in my hands the day she was born. She’s been loved and cared for ever since, so finding the right home for her means a great deal to us. She’s very shy and spends much of her time tucked away somewhere she feels safe. She loves her food, prefers to stay indoors and is gentle around the house. She’s uncomfortable being touched or picked up, but she does sometimes choose to come and sit near us. That’s how she likes to share company at the moment. She’s had a health check with a vet, who found no physical issues. Her birth was delayed, and we’ve wondered whether that might have affected her development. That’s our own impression, and there’s no diagnosis of a developmental issue. Since she’s grown up, her mum, Gracie, has started picking fights with her. We feel she deserves a home where she can relax. She needs to be the only cat in a calm, indoor home, with someone who understands timid cats and is happy to give her space and let her approach in her own time. We hope that in a quieter home she may grow more confident and build a bond with someone. Most of all, we want her to be loved as she is, even if sitting quietly nearby is always her favourite way of being with you.
